Our Team has a long-standing expertise in statistical and bioinformatics methods. We are in charge of building the predictive algorithm on the trainingphase (Phase 1) and evaluating it during the testing phase (Phase 2).
PROMPT OFFICIAL TEAM DESCRIPTION
Dr. Ferran Sanz (PhD) is chemical engineer by the Institut Quimic de Sarrià (Barcelona) and BSc and PhD by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He is Professor of Biostatistics and Biomedical Informatics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), scientific staff of the Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute (IMIM), Head of the Integrative Biomedical Informatics group and Director of GRIB (UPF side).
His research is dedicated to the application of information technologies and computational methods in biomedical research, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical R&D.
