About us - Partner 2: Paris Site

We perform the RNAseq from RNA samples extracted by Brescia site, on the iGENSEQ platform of our Institute (Paris Brain Institute, ICM) using the Novaseq6000 Illumina system and run the first data analyses: normalization, differential analyses, pathway analyses.

Dr. Marie-Claude Potier (PharmD, PhD) is Director of Research at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and Co-Group Leader of the “Alzheimer’s and Prion Diseases” research group at Paris Brain Institute, ICM at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Paris, France.

She has been working for the past twenty-five years on Down syndrome (DS) and is now developing pharmacological treatments for increasing cognition in DS as well as studying early phenotypes of Alzheimer disease in DS.
