Dr. Ferran Sanz<\/strong>\u00a0is chemical engineer by the Institut Quimic de Sarri\u00e0 (Barcelona) and BSc and PhD by the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona. He is Professor of Biostatistics and Biomedical Informatics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), scientific staff of the Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute (IMIM), Head of the Integrative Biomedical Informatics group and Director of GRIB (UPF side).<\/p>

His research is dedicated to the application of information technologies and computational methods in biomedical research, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical R&D.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr. J\u00falia Perera Bel<\/strong> is a bioinformatics scientist, <\/span>postdoctoral researcher at the Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute (IMIM) and Head of the Bioinformatics Unit. Within PROMPT, she is mainly responsible for the development of the predictive algorithm.
